In this introductory Blockly course, students will make interactive games and tools for the micro:bit to improve their health.
Students will learn about:
- programming the BBC micro:bit with Blockly including scrolling text and displaying images,
- problem decomposition and algorithms,
- storing information in variables,
- making decisions using if, if-else and if-elif-else statements in their programs,
- making loops within loops,
- playing songs and musical notes,
- using the micro:bit time functionality, and
- using the micro:bit accelerometer to detect movement.
