100 minutes to tackle 5–7 real-world, complex programming challenges — this isn't your average multiple-choice quiz.

This is a proctored competition held outside school hours, so you can focus without the bell schedule getting in the way.

Participants must begin within the open window.

Prize money and exclusive perks are up for grabs for top performers.

Designed for ambitious programmers in Years 9–12, but younger coders with the drive to compete are absolutely welcome.

Want to sharpen your programming skills ahead of the WiseTech Global Programming Competition?

Compete in the WiseTech Global Challenge in May and the WiseTech Global Advanced Python competition in July to practise the types of questions you'll see, and to get comfortable in a timed Grok exam environment ahead of the main event.

WiseTech Earn & Learn program

WiseTech Global's Earn & Learn program gives Year 12 school leavers the chance to get paid to work with industry experts while they study for their computer science degree — with incentives for high performance, supported by a diverse range of mentors to learn from and be inspired by.

Applicants need to have programming knowledge and skills and be able to demonstrate this as part of the selection process. Participation in the WiseTech Global Programming Competition delivered by Grok Academy provides a direct pathway into the selection process for top performers.
