Marketing, Sales and Support Executive

We’re looking for someone with a passion for education and proven track record in sales and marketing to join our team. Leading a small team and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing business on a mission.

We are a team of software engineers and educators who love teaching computer science to everyone. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion and wants to help share our teaching approach with academics and students around the world.

We believe our platform is a fantastic way to develop a deep understanding (that’s what Grok means!) of computer science, and we’re looking to maximise our sales potential and develop and implement best-in-class marketing and sales strategy.

You will be responsible for identifying, developing and executing marketing strategies to support business sales in new and developing markets in both the schools and tertiary markets. You will also be responsible for managing and retaining relationships with existing clients.

You will have considerable experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels to drive and grow sales. The ability to think strategically and critically with a proven record in identifying new and emerging markets to expand profitability and market share. You will also have a strong focus on providing high levels of customer service and support to existing customers to improve relationships and reduce churn.

We need someone who:

  • experience in brand positioning and strategy
  • experience in increasing sales revenue and gross profits in education digital platforms
  • experience in selling products to schools
  • ability to drive and grow sales in both new and existing channels
  • proven leadership of a sales team
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • driven and energetic, and wants to grow our business;
  • experience in leading and motivating the work of others,
  • results orientated, with high drive to meet objectives and standards, and
  • is flexible and willing to help improve every part of our business.

A bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline, and at least 5-8 years experience in marketing and sales of educational technology or similar is preferred.
