Following on from the basic Python skills in Python for Beginners, this visually engaging course dives into the details of how images are digitally represented.

Students will use the PIL (Python Imaging Library) to analyse and manipulate image files and will learn how to:

• open and save image files
• analyse image size and other properties
• brighten and darken images
• separate the colours in a colour image
• colour tint images
